The road meanders up the backside of the hill to the property just through a gated road off Highway 200, with electrical and water hook-ups available and and is only a few miles from the town of La Manzanilla, a quaint sleepy fishing village that is part of the Costa Alegre and is fast becoming a popular vacation, investment and retirement destination.

Located on the Pacific coast of Mexico one hour north of Manzanillo and three hours south of Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco, this area is called "Costa Alegre" (Happy Coast).

La Manzanilla is located at Bahia Tenacatita and offers beautiful beaches, great ocean fishing (Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Huachinango, Dorado and Jack), a protected harbor for sailboats and yachts, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking,  horseback riding, mountain biking and swimming. It is also close to some of Mexico's best golf courses located at El Tamarindo and Grand Bay on Isla Navidad.
